The problem
Stock levels lived in a paper register and a spreadsheet — counting was slow, expiring stock got missed, and reporting took hours.
The solution
I built a JavaFX desktop application with a local MySQL database. Products, batches, and expiry dates are tracked with QR-assisted scanning, and the dashboard surfaces low-stock and soon-to-expire items in one glance.
